Vantage Maritime Container tracking

Every box on one board

Live carrier milestones, vessel ETAs, and delays for every container, tied to its documents and invoices. The free-time clock starts on its own, and your team hears about it days before fees do.

The board

One row per container, with the ones closest to costing you money on top. Status, latest event, and the free time left, from the carrier's own milestones.

Free time is a clock

It starts when the box hits the yard. Vantage starts it with the arrival notice, follows live carrier milestones, and warns your team before the first day of fees, not after.

Which clock is running

Demurrage runs while the box sits in the terminal. Detention runs once it leaves, until the empty is back. Vantage follows every milestone, so it always knows which clock is running and what it costs.

At sea

No fee clock
  1. Booking confirmed

Vantage opens the shipment from the booking or BOL.

  2. Loaded and departed

Vessel, voyage, and ETA attach to every box on board.

  3. Transshipment

Rollovers and missed connections flag the new ETA.

  4. Vessel arrived

Your team gets the arrival before the notice lands.

In the terminal

Demurrage clock
  1. Discharged

The box is off the ship and in the yard.

  2. Available for pickup

Free time usually counts from here or from discharge, per your contract or tariff.

  3. Last free day

Alerts fire at 72, 24, and 4 hours before it.

Outside the terminal

Detention clock
  1. Gated out full

Demurrage stops, and detention free time starts.

  2. Delivered

The clock keeps running while the box is unloaded.

  3. Empty returned

Detention stops. The record is ready for the invoice audit.

Free time and when each clock starts are set by your contract or the carrier's tariff. Vantage reads them from your documents.
